BIRDMIND joins the Galician Climate Alliance

On May 27, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Regional Minister for Environment and Climate Change, Ángeles Vázquez, to our factory in Pontevedra, where we officially joined the Galician Climate Alliance. This milestone strengthens our commitment to sustainability, circular economy, and climate action.

During the visit, we showcased our innovative production process for RiceTab, a technical board made from rice husks, free from formaldehyde, with fire-resistant, water-repellent, and antifungal properties. Beyond its high functionality, RiceTab contributes to reducing emissions, prevents deforestation, and is produced without water consumption and using 100% renewable energy.

As our founder, David Camba, pointed out: “Joining this alliance is a natural step for BIRDMIND. We believe companies must play a key role in tackling climate change and driving the transition toward a more circular production model.”

The Galician Climate Alliance, led by the regional government of Galicia, brings together organizations committed to building a greener, more sustainable, and climate-neutral future. At BIRDMIND, we share that vision and continue working to ensure that each new material we develop delivers environmental value, functionality, and long-term impact.

TAlk to us.
