The new HERO bus, unveiled by Grupo Castrosúa at the Busworld international trade fair (Brussels), incorporates Rice Tab as part of its interior materials, demonstrating that sustainability can be incorporated in a real and functional way in the passenger transport sector.
Manufactured on a Volvo Group BZR chassis, HERO is an example of innovation, efficiency and design, in which Rice Tab provides a circular, resistant and technically advanced solution, made from rice husks.
In addition to its integration into the vehicle’s interior, Rice Tab was also the material chosen for the design of Castrosúa’s stand at the fair, reinforcing a shared vision based on responsible innovation and the circular economy.
This project demonstrates the potential of sustainable materials to transform demanding industrial sectors without compromising on quality, design or durability.
