LINA99 by FÓLK

FÓLK Reykjavík designs furniture to last. BIRDMIND makes materials from what others throw away. The LINA99 shelf, reinterpreted in Rice Tab, is the natural result of those two philosophies meeting.

The collaboration with FÓLK Reykjavík brings a new interpretation of the LINA99 shelf, where Rice Tab becomes a structural and expressive material within the furniture piece.

Made from rice husks, the material adds a new dimension to the original design, combining sustainability, texture, and functionality in a single piece.

This project reflects the alignment between FÓLK’s philosophy (based on giving materials a second life) and BIRDMIND’s approach, where waste becomes the starting point of the creative process.

An example of how circularity can be translated into real furniture, combining design, innovation, and material awareness.
