BIRDMIND has taken part in Van polo clima, an initiative by the Xunta de Galicia aimed at raising awareness among young people about climate change through a travelling space that will visit festivals and cultural events throughout the summer.
Our material, RiceTab — made from rice husk waste — was chosen to shape the furniture and decorative elements of this space: tables, benches, and modular structures designed to be functional and fully aligned with the sustainability values promoted by the campaign.
The initiative was launched at the O Son do Camiño festival, marking the first encounter with the younger public. At BIRDMIND, we are proud to see how circular solutions like RiceTab are becoming part of innovative projects with real impact. A project that strengthens our commitment to sustainable design as a tool for building a better future.
